If you are in Nigeria or have stayed in some parts of Nigeria, you must have heard this question "how far?" from someone. It connotes either of "what is the progress report" or "how are you doing?" We are fast moving in the fourth month of 2022 already, HOW FAR? What has changed, what has improved, what have you given up or what have you picked up towards becoming a better version of you? Life is measured in time and the value of time is in its use. It's much easier to waste it. Don't wait for anyone to ask you about the progress report of the decisions you consciously made at the beginning of the year. At the end of it all it will be a question that only you will have to answer so start answering it now. Are you still on track or have you drifted off the track? Everyday I see how people strive to learn new things and acquire more knowledge concsiously and unconsciously. Atimes it is glaring that the learning is out of compulsion and circumstances but, I do not have a challenge with that in this piece. All my interest at the moment is, how much of the acquired knowledge the learners actually put to work? Are we really learning to eventually forget or are we learning and practicing what we learn. They say, Love is expensive  Love is demanding Some even say.. Love is painful Love is difficult but is that really love. A young guy walks up to a young lady and says I love you. After few weeks she comes back crying, he broke my heart after all I did for him. Seriously??? What did you do for him? I discovered early in life that love is a choice to accept, care, and tend . Love is patient and kind; Love does not envy or boast;  it is not arrogant or rude.  It does not insist on its own way;  it is not irritable or resentful;  it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. and never  ends. Growth is one of the characteristics of life hence, should be normally "natural" right? Time however, has revealed again and again that growth is rather "stressful and demanding" as opposing to the fact that it is a normal life characteristic. Well, the saying of nothing good comes easy seems to be finding expression here. People overtime express their desires to grow in different ways but, only those who deliberately dared to pay the price have emerged differently. Wishes does not culminate into growth neither does anxiety. There is a cost implication of growth and it comes in different forms. Three categories of people exist for me when talking about victors, those who struggle to win, those who know how to win and those who know how to win by making others win. Every single person you celebrate as a success story, falls into one of  these categories I mentioned. Do I still need to write or have you got my message already? It is simple, when you struggle to win, you struggle to stay a winner and almost often see everybody as a threat to your survival as a winner. When you know how to win, you keep winning but may never learn the best lessons of life embedded in relationships.
