He was born on the 2nd of march 1948 in Iferewa, Osun state, Nigeria. He was born into a  poor family and they were really poor that he once stated humorously that even the poor called his family poor. Daddy GO as he is aslo called never owned shoes until he was 18 years. Now this background issues that could have being set back to so many in the world of today did not in any way put the young Enoch's back on the ground. He was rather so determined and focused to succeed hence was unequivocally consistent in diligence. He attended the Ilesha Grammar school in osun state where his interest for mathematics was clearly spelt out. He attended the famous University of Nigeria Nsuka where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 1967, still in 1967 he got married to his beloved wife
